Formed in 1976:
Membership:
- Membership in the choir is available to women aged 18 and older
A-not-for-profit organisation:
- $30 Joining fee (Administration/Gold Members Badge and Box Net access)
- $30 Annual fee (Payable at the commencement of each year)
- $12 Weekly fee (Payable monthly in advance by direct transfer or weekly cash payment)
- $75 Uniform bond payable upon issuing of uniforms. ($50 will be refunded on return of uniforms and deemed in good condition, no later than two weeks after resignation.)
- NB: FLC's main expenses consist of payments to our professional musical director, lease costs for our premises, insurance, and the everyday operational costs of the choir.
Repertoire:
- We showcase a diverse selection of modern, contemporary, and classical favourites, featuring tracks from musicals, timeless ballads, and popular songs, arranged in 2, 3, and occasionally 4-part harmony. Our current active repertoire consists of around 30 songs.

- Australian Citizenship Ceremonies
- Social and Service Clubs,
- Aged Care Facilities
- Nursing Homes and Hospitals
- Probus Clubs
- Contact the choir secretary.
- Join two (2) choir practices as an onlooker.
- Fill out and submit a membership application.
- A voice assessment will be conducted by the Musical Director to determine your placement in the choir, such as Sop1, Sop2, or Alto.
- Understanding how to read music is a valuable skill, though not a requirement.
- Being able to sight-read is also advantageous, but it's not mandatory.
